Dear fellow mountain lovers,
Wherever you are right now—perhaps scrolling through photos of sea clouds from last month’s hike while surrounded by skyscrapers, or maybe holding your very first backpack and nervously planning your inaugural overnight trek—this message is for you. No matter who you are or where you stand, if the wild mountains call to you, we are kindred spirits.
This summer, the AIONE Guardian of the Wild public welfare initiative kept moving forward. We carried the message of safety—a topic that may sound familiar yet carries immense weight—into one wild landscape after another.
On-the-Ground Sessions
Our workshops covered essential knowledge for every outdoor enthusiast:
Pre-Trip Preparation: Route planning, weather forecasting, and equipment checklists
Navigation Skills: Offline map usage, trail marker identification, and junction marking techniques
Heatstroke & Hypothermia: Recognizing early warning signs and rapid cooling methods
Emergency Response: Sprain management, snake and insect bites, and避险 strategies during sudden storms
Environmental Stewardship: Leave No Trace principles

Classroom in Action: Luoyang Yanshi Golden Grassland
We witnessed moments of genuine connection—instructors and participants engaged in focused dialogue, hikers gathered around maps discussing route options, and beginners exclaiming “So that’s how it’s done!” as they adjusted their backpack重心 for the first time under proper guidance. In every frame, knowledge and experience flowed, and courage grew alongside competence.
Trail Cleanup: Chongli Three Ridges – Yushi Ridge – Daying Ridge – Xique Ridge
This sacred ground for trail runners and hikers, with its steep climbs and long ridgelines, tests endurance and补给 strategy to the limit. True bravery is not about recklessly heading out—it is about setting off fully prepared.
Many newcomers to the outdoors are held back by the fear of the unknown. What AIONE Guardian of the Wild does is break down those vague fears into concrete, actionable solutions—making safety as simple and intuitive as tying your shoelaces. When safety becomes second nature, courage follows naturally.
The mountains will always be there, but every journey is unique.
